The month of October has always been synonymous with change–and Bethesda Green is certainly following suit.
I often talk about making an impact by doing–by championing the change we want to see, so that together we work toward a better more sustainable future. While celebrating the local Green Champions at the Bethesda Green Gala on Oct. 12, I called on ourselves, our leaders, and our community to be the change that we want to see (a nod to Gandhi’s famous quote).
As the leaves on the trees are changing, so is our branding, which features a trifecta of new colors. The logo’s petals represent Bethesda Green’s three pillars: The Be Green Hub, the Be Impact initiative and Be-ing Community, which all act in synergy. And be sure to explore and share our revamped website with your networks. This is timely as we celebrate our 10th year of operation in 2018!
And finally, it felt good to be formally recognized for our affinity for change at TEDCO’s Entrepreneurship Expo on Oct. 25. Bethesda Green was one of six finalists in the Incubation Challenge, which asked incubators to propose a disruptive change to the incubation system in Maryland. We’re incredibly happy to announce that our proposed collaboration for a rural-urban corridor project with the Eastern Shore Entrepreneurship Center (ESEC) won! Stay tuned for the partnership roll-out with ESEC in early 2018.
We’re choosing to embrace change this season (and in the seasons to come), and we hope you are too!
