“Ride On Bus” campaign for the Green Business Certification

The Montgomery County Department of Environmental Protection and Bethesda Green coordinate “Ride On Bus” campaigns to recognize those businesses that completed their Green Business Certification.

What is the “Ride On Bus” campaign?

The “Ride on Bus” campaign is a recognition benefit for participating Green Certified Businesses in Montgomery County, Maryland. By becoming certified, your business earns its place on the bus to showcase its sustainability commitment to the community.  The buses circulate for a full month with signs that include the logos of all the businesses that certified within a given time period.  These campaigns are made possible through the Montgomery County Department of Environmental Protection and the Department of Transportation.

How can my organization join the campaign?
By becoming Montgomery County Green Business Certified! Recognition benefits such as the “Ride On Bus” initiative are included with participation.

The next campaign will be launching in May 2025.  All businesses that certified by December 2024 will be part of this promotional opportunity. Be on the lookout for your logo, along with others, on the buses during the month of May.
