Terran Material Resources decommissions and transports industrial-grade lithium-ion batteries to recycling facilities. Transportation of large, industrial lithium-ion batteries has a significant cost of decommissioning batteries due to the batteries tendency to catch fire and explode. The Department of Transportation heavily regulates transportation of batteries making disposal more costly than the original battery. Unlike other service companies, Terran Material Resource’s patent pending technology addresses the root cause of the high cost of shipping hazardous waste, by decreasing the hazards associated with shipment for public and private customers.
