April 22 is Earth Day and You can Make A Difference!
Started in 1970, Earth Day has become a worldwide movement to drive positive action for our planet. We are committed to help! Learn about opportunities for businesses and residents to Save the Planet!
1. Participate in Earth Day Events Around Montgomery County
Montgomery County GreenFest – The Montgomery County GreenFest is the largest annual environmental festival in Montgomery County, MD. GreenFest is organized by a coalition of public, non-profit, and university partners.
The City Nature Challenge – The City Nature Challenge is an adventure in metropolitan areas worldwide to discover and identify wildlife. We’ll be looking for signs of life in parks, neighborhoods, and backyards to see what plants and animals share our environment and help scientists collect valuable information on biodiversity.
2. Partner with Bethesda Green
Bethesda Green is a sustainable urban ecosystem that enhances green living, ensures environmental protection, and facilitates growth of responsible businesses.
