Best for DMV, B Corp program, is the region’s leading campaign supporting growth in the sustainable business community, is accepting internship applications for the fall and spring semester opportunities. The Best for DMV campaign offers students a chance to directly support the region’s rapidly-expanding B Corp movement while receiving firsthand experience in business collaboration-building and exposure to many of the region’s leading B Corporations and other sustainable businesses.

We are fully focused on equality and believe deeply in diversity of race, gender, sexual orientation, religion, ethnicity, national origin and all the other fascinating characteristics that make our community great. Our Internship also reflects this focus.

The ideal candidate(s) possess a passion for our movement and:

  • Is located in the DMV metro area
  • Is a senior in an undergraduate program or a 1st year grad student
  • Is available a minimum of 10-15 hour per week during the semester
  • Is passionate about diversity, inclusion and using business as a force for good
  • Possesses excellent research, writing and organizational skills
  • Has some social media management and/or event planning experience
  • Is proficient with use of Google G-Suite tools
  • Is a self-starter who takes initiative and demonstrates entrepreneurial thinking
  • Has a strong ability to multitask and work independently with limited supervision

Responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

  • Research and writing
  • Database management
  • Event planning and logistics
  • Social media management
  • Communications and marketing support

Interns can work part time remotely and are hosted at Bethesda Green, Bethesda, MD. The internship is currently unpaid and college credit may be available.
