Empanadas are one of the most popular dishes in all of South America, and for a reason: simple and yet delicious, they are a satisfying meal on the go.
Margarita grew up in Colombia playing in the her father’s kitchen – the owner of a restaurant featuring typical Colombian food. In her family, food isn’t just fuel for the body but a chance to taste life! Andy, a native Virginian, is a true foodie with a penchant for both the art and the science behind cooking.
Margarita and Andy met and fell in love while both were earning their PhD at Princeton University in graduate school (that’s another story!). Now they are raising their three boys while keeping up with busy professional lives. Finding a healthy but tasty family meal to fit in between business calls, soccer games and carpools was a challenge. By combining Margarita’s Hispanic Latin roots, Andy’s passion for modern American cuisine, and running many iterations of their recipes past their kids’ picky palates, they created “M’panadas”: modern empanadas for people on the go.
M’panadas brings convenient but wholesome food options to fuel people on the go. Fusing typical Hispanic street foods and modern cuisine, they have designed a ready-in-minutes, wholesome and portable snack or light meal. Easy can be healthy with M’panadas so that you can be ready to tackle to the next thing on your list. Visit the Mas Panadas website.
