Good Idea Solar is a veteran-owned solar developer that works with small family farms to convert a portion of their land to solar farming, which returns profitability to the farm and delivers clean, low-cost energy to the surrounding community. We develop, own and operate distributed-scale solar farms for commercial, industrial, government and community solar applications. Good Idea Solar is committed to working with communities across the country to develop sustainable power that works for everyone, not just the bottom line. We’re here to find a solution that works for you, whether you’re a landowner, a business owner, or a community leader – we’re here to make it work.

Ian Gorski, Vice President of Business Development, brings almost twenty years of experience in government and government relations at the federal and local levels. As an instructor at the United States Navy’s prestigious Fighter Weapons School (TOPGUN), Ian developed cutting-edge applications of government resources and personnel. When he left active duty in 2015, he became a small business owner and a co-owner of a small family farm, where he quickly realized the benefit deploying small-scale solar could deliver for his family and his community. His continuous pursuit of service drives him to find creative solutions that empower his neighbors and community over the long term. (Linkedin)
